The story of deltatheta
Based in Coventry, heart of the UK automotive industry, deltatheta UK Limited was founded in 2009 with the goal of bringing Modelica modelling technology into the engineering design and development process.
Passionate about Modelica
Modelica is a freely available, object-oriented, equation based language for modelling of complex physical systems. It has enormous potential and we believe there is a compelling case for the use of Modelica in every engineering company.

We are members of the Modelica Association and have established partnerships with both universities and software providers, providing a bridge between these and our industrial customers.

Products and services built upon our passion
Our products are based on a unique technology: the Modelica SDK. A powerful and extensible Modelica compiler, the Modelica SDK can be customised and embedded for any model-based application and we encourage developers to utilise its capabilities.
Our own modelling and simulation product, Vertex™, unites Modelica modelling with an intuitive user interface and integrates with CAD, spreadsheets and more to bridge the gap between engineering design and simulation. We have also created Converge™ – the first and only version control tool for Modelica models.
Our services exist to support efficient adoption of Modelica as a modelling and systems engineering technology, both for engineering companies and other engineering software providers.
